Ok so the reviews didn't match what I felt were appropriate to this restaurant. I ordered garlic fried rice, dumpling, pan fried noodles with veggie and seafood and another noodle dish 2 tiger beers and 29£ for all very reasonable priced dinner for 2.
A nice surprise I would say. They had pretty good la-mein. Reasonable price as well for a quick lunch. The waitress we had, who was a grad student from China, was friendly and helpful.
Despite the irritating self-service screens on each table replaying Gordon Ramsey trying to pull noodles, the service is friendly and fast. The beef noodles (La mian) are the best I've found in London. It's a bit dear at 7.20GBP for a steaming broth of fresh noodles, though it tastes authentic and it beats going all that way to Beijing.
